Again, that may be true but dodgy leadership can't be used to change what is law. It's common knowledge that ADF, the diggers of Anzac, don't shoot prisoners. They don't torture, don't take out anger by beating up captives and do give first aid to enemies even while still in their trench after surrender.
The background may reduce jail-time (if any) but it can't change the law on murder. Kids know what murder is.
There are no rules . There are no laws.
You do as you are told to do.
And you do it till you can’t anymore.
All that exists in the moment is the back of your comrade in front of you and the hope your comrade behind you is still alive to protect yours.
It’s primitive, it’s evil and it will never be forgotten.
There’s no rules, laws, police or umpires.
There is a culture within your team.
Unwritten rules, laws.
Some take prisoners.
Some don’t.
It always comes down to the people in command and the orders or “ vibe” they cultivate/ cultivating.
I’ve shared way too much.
I’m out of here but trust me combat isn’t like court.
There is no black or white. It’s dirty, evil and full of disgusting acts you perform to survive.
Grey?
bugger.k saying that there is no grey.
No one can ever understand.
Stay safe and please insult each others in a advance way 😂
