The IAEA said on 4 April it had been informed by Iran that a projectile struck close to the premises of the Bushehr nuclear power station, the fourth such incident in recent weeks.

Iran also informed the IAEA that one of the site’s physical protection staff members was killed by a projectile fragment and that a building on site was affected by shockwaves and fragments. No increase in radiation levels was reported.

In a statement on X, IAEA director-general Rafael Grossi expressed “deep concern” about the reported incident and said nuclear power station sites or nearby areas must never be attacked, noting that auxiliary site buildings may contain vital safety equipment. ........

Ah, but that's the thing. This whole agenda is an attack on Iranian knowledge. It started with the bombings of Iranian academics back in the 12 day war.

Back to the stone age is an apt term. Israel and the US want to turn Iran into the kind of backward, tribal petrostates that surround it.

Yes. It fits Trump's infantile mind that bombing a uni will remove scientific people from Iran. So no more missiles and nukes can ever be built. Killing the Ayatollah removes the Islamist ideas.

The US military is being ordered to commit war crimes by 8pm tonight and the generals carrying out the orders know it. Trump has laid out plans to decimate every bridge and demolish every power plant in Iran by midnight if Tehran doesn't reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
When a reporter asked if he was worried about committing a war crime, Trump simply said, "No."
Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen didn't mince words: "If you target civilian infrastructure for the purposes the president was talking about, it clearly is a war crime."
This isn't a gray area. Experts in the law of armed conflict point out that while laws of war are meant to mitigate civilian harm, they are first designed to prevent the war itself.
Bombing all of Iran's power generatio, serving 93 million people, doesn't pass any proportionality test under international law. But Trump's response? He claimed Iranians "want to hear bombs because they want to be free" with no evidence to support it.
Now the military is caught in an impossible bind. Former JAG officers are publicly warning that Trump's orders put service members "on a path of no return." Hegseth has already fired the Pentagon's top legal advisors and dissolved the unit responsible for tracking civilian harm, stripping officers of the people whose entire job was to say "this crosses the line."

Iran urges civilians to form human shields at power plants

Donald Trump has warned of “complete demolition” or power plants in Iran. Tehran has responded with a suggestion its people intervene directly.

Those professors weren't just assassinated, dear. Their entire apartment blocks were bombed, taking out hundreds in "collateral damage".

The sheer humanitarian violations of this "excursion" mean Iran will never surrender the strait of Hormuz, based on the conduct of the US military alone. Why would the Mullahs ever give this up?

Right now, they're looking like angels in comparison to the US and Israel. No other country wants a bar of this slaughter. And Iran still has the upper hand, controlling a fifth of the world's oil reserves.

DL's sitting there with his dick in his hand. His administration could not look like bigger fools. They've been totally outplayed, despite having war gamed this for years.

So I'm curious. As a reformed Trump supporter, I have to ask you this.
