All excellent points. What's more, all of them were a direct result of DL's orders.

His tariffs cost manufacturing jobs and created inflation. The solar and windmill projects he cancelled led to higher electricity prices. Cancelling subsidies for health insurance rose the price of premiums. His invasion of Iran raised the global price of petrol. Households are now thousands of dollars poorer, hence the drop in consumer confidence.

A global recession is now seriously on the cards. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz did that, a predicted outcome of his invasion of Iran.

None of these were unintended consequences. DL simply didn't give a shit. Once he got his charges dropped, he'd achieved the goal of his administration. All that's left to do now is make more money for himself.

He will be impeached. A conviction is less likely, but possible. If JD pardons him, like Gerald Ford, it will cost him re-election. By the mid-terms, even DL's own base will have turned on him.

So much winning, no?

They're refusing to comment on whether they support abandoning the US Constitution, or DL standing for a third term, or even cancelling democracy altogether.

What's more, they refuse to acknowledge the estimated $6 billion he's collected from bribes and gifts this year, not to mention deliberately shorting the price of oil so Eric and Don Jnr can place their bets.

They know this stinks - they spent four years screaming about the "Biden  crime family". They're just not allowed to comment on it.

They've been forced to shift every view they virtue-signalled while Sleepy Joe was in power.

That's unfair, Sprint. Just because the big fella has different theological views to your own is no reason to be rude, it's not right.

As you have said many times here, we need to respect the American prez, no matter what his liturgical influences are. If he has more Armageddonist spiritual leanings, I think we should respect that. We all have our own deeply-felt spiritual convictions, after all.
