NASA to colonise moon

NASA Unveils Roadmap for Permanent Moon Base and Increased Missions to the Moon

https://www.discovermagazine.com/nasa-unveils-roadmap-for-permanent-moon-base-and-increased-missions-to-the-moon-48867

NASA’s Artemis II is about to take off and circle the moon, but that’s not the only thing soon heading for our natural satellite.

On March 24, 2026, NASA announced new initiatives to increase missions to the moon and establish a permanent base there. This new plan would change the Lunar Gateway mission, which would have created a space station that orbited the moon.

The new moon missions could help improve space travel and provide more information on how to construct a base on the lunar surface. The moon base, according to NASA, will be rolled out in three phases.

Possible names for the base are 'Trump Base', 'Base Trump' or 'Trump Moon'.  He's not being arrogant about it and will wait for victory in Iran and Mid Terms before a decision.

China, in partnership with Russia and other nations, plans to establish the International Lunar Research Station (ILRS) near the Moon's South Pole, with a basic robotic station by 2035 and human habitation expected closer to 2030. This project aims to rival NASA's Artemis program by establishing a permanent, sustainable research base powered by solar and nuclear energy.

There are various 'seas' such as 'Sea of Tranquility'. These have always been Chinese and will be defended by People's drone robots against US imperialist hegemony.

Good place to test nukes in low gravity, no atmosphere condition.

Can't even keep a self sustaining ANTARCTICA base without costly periodic replenishment.
Can't even do the same to live underwater.

And here we have NASA's 2 biggest fundraising scams going around: Moon & Mars colonies. 😆🤣😂

All that people need to do is watch Sci Fi and believe.

100 years from now, they just might, in like chip packet style.
Until then, they're gonna make a lot of money. 🤑

All it takes is just $13 a month to donate to hungry kids in, ironically the most over populated countries with you highest youth population and growth rate Roll Eyes

Well, as long as it is run by pretty ladies (with or without the purple wigs) I'm all for it.

DL failed to take Greenland and Iran, so now he's going for the moon, eh?

Cunning. Do you support this one too, dear?

Leroy appears to be rather absent of late, no?

I wonder where he's been.

Styles change. The early space movies had people in medieval cloaks making Shakespeare play gestures (even Darth Vader). Then it was metallic/ plastic skin tights. They may allow shorts and thongs on the moon.

I'm only about 18 months away from joining them in their 70's.

WHY ?

This may have been reasonable in the 1970's but now there is no benifit as far as I can see with our current tech and knowledge.

Unless of course we can send Trump as the moons first perminent resident.

Nick Drake's sister was in that show.

Gabrielle Drake.

She's 81 now.
