US stocks have
dived. In Australia, they're down over 10%, with the ASX diving further when trading started today.
Slowly, as the fog of war starts to clear, we can see the mullahs regrouping, pulling out the big guns - an attack on Tel Aviv right after DL said he'd knocked out their missile launchers. Tit for tat attacks on Gulf gas and oil plants - right after Israel and the US hits theirs. Worse, the attempted strike on British base Diego Garcia, over 4000 km from Iran, shows the mullahs have intercontinental missiles, capable of reaching Europe and the US.
The US is now in a war with a country of 92 million people, a million of them soldiers. It took 250,000 US troops to hold Iraq. Analysts estimate 500,000 troops would be needed to defeat Iran.
No one could envisage a country like the US, with all of its military intelligence, planning and prowess, could be so stupid as to start a war they'd lose. DL just issued a threat to attack Iranian electricity production.
Iran calmly replied that if so, it will hit the Gulf states' power stations. Not only would this effect the populations in the Gulf, it would hit the global stock market immediately.
Right now, every day is a new loss. It's now becoming a question of whether the markets can prevail at all. How low can it go? Will 2026 be the end of 15 years of bull markets? What if the stock market
crashes entirely?Iran has the power to do this. Karma's a bitch, no?
How does it feeeeel?
