Not great but I have had worse. Possibly the best you could get for $5 a jar. I may have a different one there seems to be a few options.

Maybe you should buy your Caffeine from the Kaffas?

Best Coffee I have had was from an importer in glebe who supplied coffee from Brazil. The blend we sold was a mid strength mild (sweet) coffee, It wasn't bitter which means it had a low oils component in its crema.

The less bitter, the better. I have to agree.

That depends very much on roast.

I roast it to first crack before oil comes out, about 7-8  minutes. I use Bunning Ozzito variable heat gun  Wink

Someone gave me a jar of the stuff. I normally buy it at Aldi. But the woolies coffee has a hint of chocolate in the taste. Slightly bitter, dark chocolate. Can't decide whether I like it or not.

You'd drink any shyte instant coffee if you drink Woolies Home Brand.

It's a wonder you're not on the old Coffee & Chicory Essence  Grin

Even though I grind my own beans & have a good machine - if I have to use instant I only buy Moccona  or use Nestle Strong cappuccino sachets.

I'll give them a try - $30 isn't too expensive but about as high as I want to pay.

Ground.

Ground coffee oxidizes and changes flavor fairly quickly.

2 weeks for ground, 2 months for roasted beans, 2 years for green beans.

I buy single origin green beans and roast, grind and mix them myself depending on what I feel like at the time.

So you've had to buy a roaster as well?

Sounds time & effort consuming.

Much easier to buy a good roasted bean blend.

Yes if you are after caffeine only but I get kick out of meditative ritual.
