Romans destroying the temple means the nation was extinct for 1800 years.

No people have an inherent right of owning a political land-area. [Aboriginals in Oz]. Israel and Palestine were created by the British on policy grounds, not by the Bible or Koran. If it was Biblical, UK would have created a kingdom of David to the Euphrates river in Iraq. They only gave Israel to people who had bought land for hard cash.

This was claimed as an advertising gimmick by Judah Travel Inc in 82 CE to gain Roman tourists to look at fake plaster ruins. The temple was hidden behind a hardware outlet and Muslim donkey skin tannery until a grand opening in 1947.
