Israeli strikes and evacuation orders have forced nearly 760,000 people to flee their homes across Lebanon in just over a week, many having already been uprooted during previous hostilities in 2024.

This is not an Australian problem alone.  Where is the United Nations on this?    Why are they not acting on this as they should?     Australia should insist the UN carries out peacekeeping and/or multi-national troop support as it would do if this were any other conflict.

We are paying huge amounts to support the UN - time for them to step in and do what they are paid to do - force a détente or fold.
