Because he preached the religion - in their eyes - of 'The One True God'?

Don't their Imams in Australia already do that?

Why would they be concerned over a mad Mullah/Ayotollah in Iran?

Why are they here & not over in Iran?

A national disgrace & another proof that many of these people will never be Australians.

Muslims want their own version of Islam to be imposed on everyone else, Muslim and non-Muslim alike. So a powerful leader from your particular flavour of Islam being killed is a blow to your religion. Islam is a political as much as an ideological movement. It's no different to communists mourning the death of a brutal and oppressive communist leader on the other side of the world.

The ABC makes it sound like this is unique to Shia Islam and the Ayatollah was the equivalent of the pope. Sounds like spinless apologetic BS to me.

Our government has listed the IRGC as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Khamenei is was the supreme leader

People who mourn him are supporting terrorists.

Khamenei did mention Ali with the fight against Israel/US and Iranians pointed out Ali lost he was killed and his head was paraded around on a stick.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

The Ayatollah failed to destroy Israel.
Iranians are just hoping for a more successful one, once the dust settles.
Who knows - maybe the Shah will chant "Death to Israel & USA!" ?
