Australia has plenty of oil. But much of it is light oils. Supposedly not good for making petrol.

We were told that we found massive quantities of oil suitable for making diesel and petrol to serve our needs many times over. This was 17 years ago. Allegedly, we have been told that oil fields have been exploiting the extraction of this oil and working overtime. If this is not true, I would like to know why.

That is 100% incorrect.

Our light crude oils are perfect for making diesel and petrol.

What it is not goof for is making heavy bituminous products which requires heavy crude oil.

Quote:
Bituminous products (primarily bitumen and petroleum coke) are the heavy, residual materials left over after heavy crude oil refining.

Apparently, Marla does not understand that bombing the hell out of countries does cost a fair bit of money. That is why Australians would rather set up diplomacy and trade with other countries peacefully.

You call Albanese & Wong diplomats?  Grin

They're grovelling toadies/ sycophants/ pole smokers - especially Chinese & Muslim poles.

I was shocked to see the LP auto Gas price up in Qld Whitsundays!
Here in Melbourne it’s .89 cents per litre:
In Whitsundays it’s $1.99.5 per litre!  Shocked

A joke ey?

But even though it's a different gas than what goes into cars(LPG) - QLD is the 2nd largest LNG producer & exporter behind West Aust.
