Try filling your tank in Denmark, Bobby.

Denmark is about two thirds the size of Tasmania.
43 v 68 thousand squard kms.
With infinitely better public transport and bicycle network.

Well … looks like the news article I read said tgst even if Hormuz Strait opened tomorrow, it would be months before the prices came down…. Looks like it’s going to be a long year!
Memes will cheer us up a bit.

Australia could have affordable fuel, all we need is a intelligent leader like Trump who would drill baby drill.

https://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/australian-economy/albanese-haunted-by-2...

“ Anthony Albanese’s bold prediction of a fuel crisis in Australia sparked by a military conflict has come back to haunt him after voters dug up his own remarks half a decade ago.

As he battles the ongoing fallout of fuel prices, an old TV interview has revealed how the Prime Minister raged against government inaction way back in 2020.

“The point of our international obligations is that Australia should have here 90 days available of liquid fuel reserves, so we are significantly in breach,” Mr Albanese said in the interview.”

I wonder what magic event will unfold in the coming hours to take this out  of our prime ministers preferred news cycle?

Arrest (Ben War criminal) for a second time?

Note - it was “ voters” who found the footage our so called journalists couldn’t research back that far because they lack the funds to afford enough sherry to drink while. ( hip cup) research/?working/ getting on the  piss again.

After weeks of poor press regarding Albo ( and Scomo) poor management of fuel reserves and desperate for a major distraction.
Federal Police arrest Ben ( war criminal) Smith.

I've done the maths.
It's actually cheaper for me and the missus to drive to Grafton in her small car and stay in an overpriced motel for 3 nights.
Than it is for us to drive the MUX towing the caravan and staying in a caravan park for 5 days.
Most of the cost is fuel, double what it was 3 months ago.

So, we are off the Grafton later this months to see the old lady and staying in a motel.

But I'm going to dig deeper for a 2 week holiday we have planned for later in the year.

And greedy foreign-owned private companies:

(google)

Consolidation: In recent years, Qatar has moved to take full control of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects, consolidating joint ventures that previously included foreign partners like ExxonMobil and Total into the state-owned structure.

Cunning old me - wth the 2.7 litre Ford Terr'uh'tree diesel - (the one in town with the little crane in the back to lift the disability scooter in and out) is currently running around 12-13 kmn to the litre.... Still not cheap but a lot better than some.

I employ oil and fuel additives, and clean my filters.

I’m getting 7 ltr a hundred out my tin can mg3.

I have noticed a lot of pinging and rough running since I last filled up ( today).
I’m concerned I have purchased a tank of the sulfer fuel (previously unavailable for environmental factors that suddenly don’t matter anymore).

Is there any Chris Bowen  warning signs about the the environment damaging and engine damage giving us a choice to both support the environment and not ruin our engines with his now sulfer petrol that was previously denied to be used in a Australia due to the environment and engine damage it was known for?

Chris Bowen stop spending tens of millions on ads to promote yourself.

Just answer my question?

We are being exploited like some poor, tin pot
African colony in the 19th century.
We own a whole continent -
we should be energy independent -
we should be the richest people in the world.

You have suddenly become aware?

Where did all Australian natural resources wealth go?

Don’t point to highways or street lights.

Most third world nations have the same and often better.

Where did the money go?

Our wealth was stolen.

Norway is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of per capita income.
The Scandinavian nation owes this fact to its wealth of resources, particularly its rich offshore oil deposits.
