So the local Aboriginal land Council get millions of dollars to help them remove the contaminated waste .....

and they have failed to do so .... where has the money gone?

I can bet this asbestos waste was from former Aboriginal housing that they trashed.

I remember a friend of mine who had family in the Walgett district telling me in the late 70's or early 80's the Govt NSW govt/via the Federal govt were building new brick houses for Aboriginals in Walgett - & as they were being built they were being vandalised.

The local Aboriginal corp also bought the local Oasis Hotel as a business concern ..... it lasted 6 months before it went broke... too much free piss for the locals.  Grin
