An Apache is an attack helicopter - question is - what was it attacking? And WHY? It's not like it was transiting from one ship to another... that's a Seahawk or maybe Sea Stallion job...

Footnote:- Two 22 SAS teams were lost when a Sea King chopper went down when transferring them from HMS Hermes to HMS Intrepid for landing at San Carlos during the Falklands campaign. SAS teams at San Carlos were sniper hunters and recon in front of the advance. Cold water.... icy ... leaky boots ..some wore hefty coats for the rest of their lives... and shivered when a cold wind blew outside...

Explosions hit Qeshm Island, ports along Strait of Hormuz after Trump threatens to hit Iran ‘very hard’.

Was it drowning due to Cold Shock (0 to 3 minutes) or Hypothermia (30+ minutes)?

In first case they did not have cold conditioning, which is strange for SAS.
In second case inadequate search and rescue operations at cold sea.
