Military genius from America, not wanting to get sucked into a guerilla war with Iran they are just going to blockade everything going in and out of Iran. The only war Iran can fight is to come out into the open and attack America. Iran hiding behind civilians won"t work in this war.

The Islamic Guard Corps (IRGC) has delineated its control boundaries in the Strait of Hormuz.
This zone includes the Emirati port of Fujairah, through which the UAE, which withdrew from OPEC and OPEC+, planned to export oil to the global market.

The IRGC warned that any unauthorized passage would be met with force. To back up their words, the military launched two kamikaze drones at a tanker attempting to transit the strait without permission along the coast of Oman. The UAE-owned vessel was damaged.

The Iranians also launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles at the US Navy destroyer USS Canberra. The crew ignored the Iranian military's warning and attempted to transit the strait without permission. The missiles were apparently intercepted.

The U.S. blockade against ships attempting to enter or depart Iranian ports remains in full effect. CENTCOM forces continue to act deliberately and professionally to ensure compliance.
