Logical and somewhat overdue

Quote:
U.S. to Blockade Ships Entering or Exiting Iranian Ports

TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces will begin implementing a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports on April 13 at 10 a.m. ET, in accordance with the President’s proclamation.

The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM forces will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.

Additional information will be provided to commercial mariners through a formal notice prior to the start of the blockade. All mariners are advised to monitor Notice to Mariners broadcasts and contact U.S. naval forces on bridge-to-bridge channel 16 when operating in the Gulf of Oman and Strait of Hormuz approaches.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 The destroyed Iranian drone carrier "Shahid Mahdavi."

The ship was built on the basis of a civilian vessel and was used to launch sea and air drones, and could also carry helicopters. It was commissioned in 2023.

Easy to adapt such a wide open deck from a bulk transporter.. the Brits used them in the Falklands for Harriers... drones would be much easier.  I guess that loss will learn them a bit.

Anyway back to Iran.

Quote:
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a new shipping route through the Strait of Hormuz because the previous route "may be dangerous due to the presence of naval mines."

The new shipping route is much closer to Iranian territorial waters and Larak Island, making it easier to monitor should the strait reopen.

Think how it would be if the Silk Road had been built.... and Vlad had created a super-highway south to link his New Axis.

The big problem for shipping is insurance doesn't cover terrorism or acts of war so the question of Hormuz being open or not doesn't solve insurance problem with Islamic regime making threats.

Trump blockading ships from Iranian ports is a good response. Many in IRGC haven't been paid recently cutting revenue for Islamic regime might result in IRGC not showing up for work which could help those hoping for monarchy to return. It might cause Iraqi and Afghan militias that have moved into Tehran to go home if they're not being paid.

Muslim pirates are the reason President Jefferson decided to build a Navy to stop that BS.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

There was "highway from the Varangians to the Greeks" since medieval time, it connected Scandinavia and the Eastern Roman Empire.
In fact that is where and how Russia was formed.

...

Archaeological finds at trading centers like Birka show significant quantities of Asian goods, including Chinese silk, Arab coins and spices.
Walrus ivory from Scandinavia—were among the goods traded eastward to Asia.

Indeed.

And Trump's attacks are terrorist attacks.

The US is a rogue state, and Trump & Hegseth are terrorists.

Sociopathic, genocidal terrorists.

Labor party and their voters love the Ayatollahs.

If you oppose Islamic regime they call you an enemy of God and execute you.
