Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps posted a video the same day purporting to show an F-35 being targeted and struck by an Iranian air defense system.

It's video from a game or AI Iran and their lackeys have posted heaps of fake videos.

lacking realistic FLIR white is hot plane isn't same temp as exhaust  no visible missile contrails/exhaust bloom unnatural sky/background, and no evasive maneuvers from the jet.

If it was hit by a missile it wouldn't have flown back to a US airbase in another country.

The video you posted is fake it's common with islamic regime and their supporters.

Yes reports say F35 was hit didn't say with what the fact it could fly back to a US base shows it wasn't catastrophic hit.

Planes have been flying pretty low over Iran lately Iran still has AA guns.

It was first reported by CNN.

Anyway the video doesn't matter much, what is of real concern is that highly stealthy aircraft was detected.

That's not good enough. Please write a better example for detecting a stealth plane.

oh dear. Radar uses algorithms, improve the algorithms and you improve the detectability. Although I suspect that also went over your head. Cool

No no, that's the literal radiation processing.
You can do this.

The video is fake.
Older people might remember Baghdad Bob from Iraq war nothing has changed since then with muslims reporting on wars.

Lots of videos of planes flying very low over Iran locals cheer them on they see them flying over Iran everyday.
Stealth only works for higher altitudes not when they're low and in sight.

We can rule out being hit by missile MANPADS target heat from exhaust being single engine F35 would go down.
Russian or Chinese SAM would blow plane up.

The fact plane landed safely in another country and pilot is listed as stable indicates possible small arms or AA fire.

Hitting it with AK47 isn't likely if you see plane flying past you have to aim in front and much higher to account for bullet drop the only chance you really have is if it's flying towards you.

Iran still has WW2 era AA guns that shoot faster than AK this could be possible hit.

Since pilot was listed as stable instead of no injury it makes hit by AK or sniper rifle more likely.

Over 1000 sorties a day flown over Iran one plane slightly damaged returned to base landed safely.

That's right. Improve the processing, algorithms, improve the detail returned.

that wasn't so hard was it? Roll Eyes

You do understand radio frequency output, radio frequency return? Or perhaps you imagined that it was all done visually? Wink

I have my own conspiracy theory now.
Don and Vlad are carrying out their plan.

Destroy all Middle East oil in the Persian Gulf -
Iran does the dirty work for them -

then the US robs and sells Venezuelan oil -
Russia wins against Ukraine and sells its own oil -

they all get $200 per barrel and make a fortune.
The Yanks and the Russians pay off their debts and divide up the world.

Further -
"The development of digital signal processing (DSP) technology and software-defined radio (SDR) enabled these systems to identify various types of interference in complex signal environments. In the 21st century, as satellite navigation systems diversified into a quadripartite structure, there arose a need for compatibility in interference monitoring systems. Monitoring platforms have evolved from fixed ground-based systems towards mobile air- and space-based systems, with nations working to establish comprehensive, three-dimensional maritime, land, air, and space interference monitoring systems. Table 2 provides an analysis and comparison of the three types of interference monitoring platforms."

It was about 2 am on March 19, which is New Moon therefore completely dark.

Misagh-2: A locally developed shoulder-fired missile with a range of around 6 km, designed to lock onto an aircraft’s heat signature.
Majid: A newer short-range system using electro-optical and infrared tracking, built for point defence against low-flying targets.
Herz-9: A passive, mobile air defence system that tracks targets without emitting radar signals, making it harder to detect.
Misagh-1 and Misagh-3: Earlier and upgraded variants of Iran’s heat-seeking missile family.
Sayyad-1A: An upgraded anti-aircraft missile believed to incorporate infrared tracking elements.

Unlike traditional radar-guided systems, these platforms operate passively, meaning they do not broadcast signals that stealth aircraft are designed to evade. This raises the possibility that infrared detection may have complemented or substituted radar tracking in the engagement.

Also  the jet may not have been hit directly but rather damaged by shrapnel from the missile's proximity-burst warhead.

What next?

1. Trump pulls out.  TACO.

2. Trump declares victory, despite having his ass kicked.

3. The middle east is left to clean up Trump's mess on their own.

4. Trump attacks Cuba before the mid-terms in a bid to a) score a win for once and avoid losing the house and Senate and, b) create another distraction from the Epstein files.
