Gee Bobby, you still haven't worked it out. For 9 years Trump has been telling us that we have to untie ourselves form being reliant on countries that want to bring down America. Iran is the one stopping oil supplies not America.. Iran can't go chanting death to America and be surprised when America come and destroy their weapons.

Trump didn't consult with NATO or any of his allies including us.
We had no chance to buy extra fuel supplies as a buffer -
we were caught out with only 3 weeks supply.
It could be a catastrophe for Australia.

Somehow advertising on TV you going to bomb Iran sort of spoils the surprise.

Trump derangement syndrome
Fareed Zakaria defined the term as "hatred of President Trump so intense that it impairs people's judgment"

Lets check in at 5pm on 23rd July 2025 then at 5pm on 30th July

Trump compared it with Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor.
Surprise was needed as the US navy was vastly stronger. Iran's gunboats are not.  The US organised the Pacific war. Trump hasn't heard of the word 'organise' and wouldn't be able to produce it.

Quote:
The Israeli Air Force struck Iranian Navy targets in the Caspian Sea on Wednesday night for the first time since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, the IDF confirmed on Thursday.

Among the sites targeted during the strikes was a major Iranian Navy port, at which dozens of ships were destroyed. Prominently among the destroyed vessels were four missile ships equipped with air defenses and anti-submarine missiles, as well as a corvette warship.

Other significant targets of the strikes located at the port included a central command center for the Iranian Navy, and infrastructure used to repair and maintain Iran's military vessels.

I never knew we had only about 3 weeks supply of fuel and that
some of that was on ships heading our way -
we didn't actually have it here in Australia.
That is criminal negligence.

It's video from a game or AI Iran and their lackeys have posted heaps of fake videos.

lacking realistic FLIR white is hot plane isn't same temp as exhaust  no visible missile contrails/exhaust bloom unnatural sky/background, and no evasive maneuvers from the jet.

If it was hit by a missile it wouldn't have flown back to a US airbase in another country.

Did you know Elbit (Israel) and Collins aerospace make the Helmet mounted display systems for our F35s?
This allows all the flight data to show on helmet visor so pilots don't have to look at instrument panel while flying.

Israel also makes the outer skins for our F35 wings.

We make a door latch for F35 the Greens say we should stop supplying them to Israel.
Our F35s would be useless without Israeli parts.

The video you posted is fake it's common with islamic regime and their supporters.

Yes reports say F35 was hit didn't say with what the fact it could fly back to a US base shows it wasn't catastrophic hit.

Planes have been flying pretty low over Iran lately Iran still has AA guns.

Good.

Six major international powers, including Britain, France, Germany and Japan, said they were ready "to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz".

"We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning" the grouping -- which also includes Italy and the Netherlands -- said in a joint statement on Thursday (all times local), as they condemned "in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf".

The F-35 is a shared build between many countries.

'The defence official noted London has sent a "small number" of  military "planners" to US Central Command to "help with the planning and option development for... whatever comes next in the Strait of Hormuz might look like".

The White House was stunned into silence at the brilliant concept.'We just send in planes' said a Trump staffer with a puzzled expression. 'This planning option..never heard of stuff like that. Is it a European thing? Genius'
