Trouble is, the world depends on Trump's thoughts which resemble a wheelie bin that's filled.

Man they must have had some stuff.
I would have thought they would have it all destroyed by now and capability rendered inoperable.
I guess they are more dangerous than we thought.

Might need boots on the ground to do a complete cleansing of the nation.

It would be difficult to clear the Strait of Hormuz without
invading the coastal areas.

Can clear a pass using a  mine-clearing line charge (C4-filled rope) in a day but still need to kill shore based artillery and anti-ship missiles launches. 1-3 weeks may be?
No boots on ground needed.

The Iranian side of Strait of Hormuz has cliff faces where the Iranian army
can hide in tunnels and exit for 2 minutes to fire missiles.
That will be hard to stop.

Trump says US struck military targets on Iran's Kharg Island, key oil export hub

March 13, 202611:49 AM GMT+11      Updated 33 mins ago

WASHINGTON/DUBAI/BEIRUT/JERUSALEM, March 13 (Reuters) -

The United States on Friday attacked military targets on Iran's main oil hub of Kharg Island, President Donald Trump said, threatening to strike oil infrastructure on the ‌island if Iran continues to block shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

In a social media post, Trump said the U.S. military "totally obliterated every MILITARY target" on the island, but he had decided to leave oil infrastructure intact. The island serves as the export terminal for 90% of Iran's oil shipments and lies about 300 miles (483 km) northwest of the strait.

"However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision," Trump said.
Iran had no ability to defend against U.S. attacks, the president added. "Iran’s Military, and all others involved with this Terrorist Regime, would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what’s left of their country, which isn’t much!" he said.

The Kharg island attack ? -

it’s strange as some reports claim that the US wants to invade the island but
normally an invasion would happen 5 minutes after it was bombed to attack
with surprise when the enemy is stunned.
No attack now but 1000s of marines are being sent to the Gulf.

More US Marines and warships to be moved to Middle East, reports say

It is.
From military POV US is doing well but there is media campaign that paint it all as doom and gloom.

Quote:
Reports indicate that last weeks Israeli airstrikes targeted Iranian F-14 Tomcat fighters at Isfahan Air Base in central Iran. The base is believed to host the majority of the remaining Iranian F-14s, which could mean that many of the last operational Tomcats in the world were destroyed in the strike.

Quote:
The United States struck Kharg Island, the key Iranian oil island through which about 90% of Iran’s oil exports pass, according to the report. President Trump said U.S. forces destroyed every military target there, while warning that if Iran interferes with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, broader oil infrastructure could be next. Yair explains why a blow to Kharg Island puts extreme pressure on Iran’s economy and raises the stakes across the region.
