Don’t know about Brian, and frankly don’t care, but mandatory sentences are manifestly unfair.
The terrorist who acquires the gun with intent to murder and the little old lady who, ignorant of the law, kept her WWII soldier father’s pistol in memory of him would both be equally guilty at law.

Being attacked by Somalis with long shards of glass. I eventually shot em all with a heavy 50 calibre machine gun just for efficiency because I was about to awaken soon.
