Don't drink alcohol
Never taken any illegal drugs.
Was on an assortment of various painkillers when I was in hospital when I broke my back.
Lived on valium for 4 months during recovery, but when I started seeing things that weren't there I decided to get off them, that took 2 months
Since then I will take an occasional Panadol or ibuprofen, but nothing else for the pain, I have learned to live with it.
Recently I have been diagnosed with bursitis in my hip, shoulder and knee, I exercise and complain a lot, but no drugs.
The only drugs I do take are for blood pressure.
I don't like the feeling of being outside myself like I was when on valium..
It's tough at times, but survivable.
Hi,
I am getting over bursitis.
Good luck there. A physio helped, also Osmo patches help.
https://superpharmacyplus.com.au/osmopatch20pack?otto_prod=83373&utm_campaign=18... I have had the shoulder bursitis for several years now.
The quack recons it's from all the swimming I used to do to keep fit.
I have exercises, but when it's playing up ( not so frequently recently) it gives me hell.
The hip is a newbie.
I was getting hip pain and about 12 months ago I slipped on my stupid pebhlecrete and overextended that leg.
The bursitis started just after that.
I went to the quack, x-rays, ct scan and ultrasound later, it was diagnosed as a burser or bursitis in my hip.
More exercises, more pain and very little relief.
I had hoped it was arthritis, because the little woman went from limping around to ZERO pain after having her hip replaced.
Her knees were also a success story, zero pain, although she has some limitations, can't kneel.
I'll look into the Osmo, are they prescription?
