Bring back 19th century British justice -

the British knew what to do in their lawless colonies.

The men were taken to Riverstone Police Station where they are undergoing questioning.

Charges have not been laid.

The arrests come less than 24 hours after police discovered human remains near a golf club in Pitt Town in the north-west fringes of Sydney, as the search for Mr Baghsarian reached its eleventh day.

Police said the remains were not able to be positively identified as of yet, but were suspected to belong to Ms Baghsarian.

What kind of Usual Suspect are they? No names?  No 'police arrested two men of Skumkasian appearance' or anything?

Why would they describe the appearance of the suspects if they've already arrested them?   Undecided

You know, I was thinking that very thought after seeing a reporter go into the high security cell of the guy that did the Bondi killings.
Without a shadow of a doubt, totally guilty and yet being fed, etc
I thought he is a waste of space, why should he live? Why not have a death row here like in the States?
Mind you. The jail area looks very grim and highly secured with nothing anyone would call is living a life except just survive, it’s a miserable existence and punishment in itself, capital punishment/death to them would be a relief, so even though it bothers me our tax is paying for looking after them, it’s still a hell on earth while alive. The security guards showed area of maximum security lockups and how each prisoner would be yelling…. it’s their punishment, what do they expect, a social life in prison? Privileges? Smug when planning and committing a crime, not so smug now are they!

I agree 100%.

However, that doesn't justify the premeditated killing of restrained prisoners.

There is no crime or person - no matter how evil - that justifies a civilised society lowering themselves to that level.

One of them is a chunky swarthy

The other is a skinny whitey

So a fat wog and a skinny bogan, likely hired by the Alammedin gangster family, insh'allah.

Do you also want the State to rape, steal, kidnap, terrorise, and deal in illicit drugs?

they order killings and they take part in killings.

So you are against euthanasia? Abortion?

In any case, you 'argumemmt' against the deaath penalty is fallacious. You presume, without any justification, that the premise of your stance is beyond dispute, and then you just bang on and on, no matter what.

One of the BEST arguments for the death penalty is that iit takes the offender, his intentions and his act seriously, as an act of an equal who was and is fully in control of his own moral agency, choices and actions.  There are well-recognised mitigating circumstances that are recognised as casuing diminished moral responsibility and to act otherwise. But if the capital offence is committed while in ful possession of moral and physical capacity, the death penalty is both necessary and even the only honourable course - honourable towards the victim, society and even the offender.

Ummm… I think that’s already a given as our state (Vic) has shown merciless spending/wasting of tax payers money  Angry and how for instance, land tax has been risen astronomically …my husbands work place, just last week the boss told him his land tax went from $50,000 per annum to $250,000 in a blink!
That’s got to hurt, and now I understand why many factory runs they serviced have closed down, the business is only just surviving with no profit.

There is no "BEST argument" for the death penalty in a civilised society.

The premeditated killing of a restrained prisoner is barbaric, and merely lowers the executioners to the same level as that of sociopathic criminals.

So, I can completely understand why you would be in favour of it.

The prisoners in high max security, had a choice to kill or not kill, so I wonder, (even though I reckon they can stay in a miserable cell for life, oh how the days must seem long!) since capital punishment is not within Australian laws, that these prisoners can be given a choice, a pill to end their own life?
It’s a choice and they chose to kill, so maybe extend the courtesy for them to do same?
But that’s a cop out. Why give that option … let them stay in that miserable existence.
Bet they never imagined how bad it would be when committing a crime?
More tv programmes should show it as it is, maybe excursions for young ones to see how unglam crime results are.
They do that in the states, have teens go in and prisoners talk to them about not making those mistakes.
