Trump is discovering he can't 'produce the goods' because.....it’s time for governments to take control of resource mobilization via intelligent central planning (made practicable in the age of AI), to achieve sustainable resource allocation, given ‘invisible hand’ markets are increasingly unable to function properly in an era of ecological distress, increasing population, and mal-distribution of resources manifesting in entrenched poverty and soaring inequality, as well as the looming ecological collapse.

Even Musk hasn’t realised it yet, despite claiming that “AI will render currencies irrelevant” and “work will be optional”…..

Can the prospect of (increasingly evident) political chaos, following economic dysfunction and looming ecological disaster, change men’s thinking?

I think he doesn't have an exclusive right to give everyone a DOGE check. I pay about $2.19 a gallon for gasoline, if we bought it by the liter it would cost a little over .50 cents. Think about that the next time you go to the petrol station. I pay 0.0% APR on credit cards and how much is 1500% cheaper for drugs work out at $2.36 for a prescription? By the way, the Stock Market has been very, very good to me in the last 12 months. What a turn around from the four years before that.

Politicians need to start thinking about the post Trump era, because global political instability caused by economic dysfunction isn't going away.

Apparently most people don't seem to understand what living "paycheck to paycheck" means. It doesn't mean those people are living in desperation and fear about how they are going to pay their way in the world. I know many people who live "paycheck to paycheck" and most live a lavish lifestyle above their ability to pay it all back. As long as the income continues they appear to be wealthy.

The post Trump era as you call it may well be the end of freedom. The World is getting better but the other side is sure to turn that around as soon as they take power again. What the other side wants is total control over your lives and I expect that you will feel safer knowing wise people are in control of your lives.

Doge needs to be seen in the context of the public private alliance that is the future model for power.

Trump and Musk are in such alliance.
JD Vance and Peter thiel are in such an alliance.

Musk needs access to government software if he and his team ate to take over the functioning of American society.
The data can feed his AI and he needs that as well for the new crypto currency he will run through X.

Thiel similarly needs the access to massive data through Google and meta to feed his AI and usher in the PayPal bit coin.

As Musk, Trump, JD and Theil correctly recognise, China is bounding ahead in developing AI and digital currency and the USA needs to catch up.

In truth, china's autocracy runs much better then the failed American system and its time that these 4 intelligent patriotic men saved the USA from itself

You obviously dont know many low-income people living paycheck to pay check.

Cost of living pressures are real for these people; and an unexpected one-off expense can increase the pressure immensely. That's why Trump's poll numbers are declining.
