China sends warships to the Gulf

“At least one or more type-055 destroyers of China have set off for Iranian waters, and one already entered the Iranian waters— international news outlets indicate.

This is a serious development amid the ongoing tensions involving Iran, USA and the wider region. Iranian news outlet said the deployment of Chinese advanced type-055 destroyer is a testament to the trilateral strategic partnership of Russia, China and Iran. The trio is preparing for a joint naval exercise in the Gulf of Oman as reported by Setrosea in the previous post.”

'Djibouti, due to its strategic position on the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, hosts numerous foreign military bases, serving as a critical hub for global powers, U.S., China, France, Japan, Italian, German, and Spanish forces'.

China invests in Djibouti which has debts and China wants to exclude other powers. It can berth China's aircraft carriers.

Oceanic White-tip Sharks and other pelagic Sharks have become scared with a 90% drop in numbers due to being FIN harvested and other.

With War, comes a good feeding and numbers might increase again with FIN harvesting ships and boats neutralised by War also.

Trump wants to block oil from Russia to China and now from Iran as well.  This is smart and led to war with Japan in the 1940s.

Chinese media are describing the mission as "long-term." That is, definitely not for a couple of weeks.

Leading the group is a Project 055 ship.

...

Quote:
Eight modules, each with 64 missiles, are located in the bow of the ship, forward of the superstructure, and six others (each with 48 missiles) are located in the aft section of the superstructure, forward of the helicopter hangar. The dimensions of the UVP cells (9 m × 0,85 m) are suitable for housing anti-ship hypersonic and long-range anti-aircraft missiles. A total of 112 missiles of various types are carried, representing a considerable salvo.

China sending some of its cardboard cutout 'naval' fleet into blue waters... Sad.

In the last days of January, a report flashed across Chinese online media that one of China's Southern Fleet task forces had been spotted near Hainan Island. The report itself was inconsequential; Hainan is within the Southern Fleet's operational zone, so everything was perfectly normal.

Some, however, expressed concern that the Chinese were planning a jump into the Arabian Sea, to "reassure" Iran.
Liaowang-1, commissioned last year, is the "brain" of this group. Its presence lends the Chinese detachment's mission a different meaning than observation.

...

It is likely that the Liaowang-1 can detect and track stealth ships, missiles, and aircraft, also  intercept and decrypt information coming from satellites. Some analysts believe this is one of the main reasons China built the ship.

I wonder how many of these Chinese warships and weapons have been built using Australian iron ore?

You know, the iron ore that Australia keeps selling to China even though they are supposed to be one of the Big Bad Guys these days?  Roll Eyes

It is reminiscent of pig iron sold to Japan before WW2.

Which Chinese 'high-tech' exactly  was deployed in Venezuela to protect Maduro?

Google it... It's not hard to find.

China would sh!t itself if it found itself in a real conflict with anyone... worst of all, the US, NATO or the Israelis.
