Melbourne is now a third world city.

I have a $1000 Jetstar voucher from my employer and I have been looking around for a weekend trip but I just can’t find any capital I would want to visit in Australia?

There all just seem to be depressing dangerous slums.

I may as well just drive up to the Gold Coast to get that experience?

A damning report has exposed how the taxpayer money allegedly flowed straight to organised crime.

A bombshell inquiry has uncovered damning evidence of industrial scale corruption on Melbourne’s big build projects, with the CFMEU accused of funnelling more than $15 billion from Victorian taxpayers straight into the pockets of criminals.

Shadow Attorney-General James Newbury described it as “the worst instance of corruption this state has ever seen.”

The man responsible for the bombshell corruption report, Geoffrey Watson SC, revealed at least $15 billion in taxpayer dollars went straight to organised crime.

“It could be $30 billion, not $15 billion,” Watson said.

“The people who were benefiting from this were criminals.”

In a stunning revelation, paragraphs about that eye-watering figure and the state government’s “indifference” were deleted days before Wednesday’s CFMEU inquiry.

An official appointed by the Albanese government ordered the information to be wiped, Opposition Leader Sussan Ley told parliament.

“I did not suggest the changes, I was directed to make the changes,” the official said, claiming it was outside the terms of reference.

You mean they are not going to be held responsible for that?!!!

but they let $15 billion of theft go unpunished. Go figure?

People want shelter and food that they can afford plus police and hospitals as well as education.
