Labor has almost nobody left of centre, the Libs have nobody close to centre.

Australian politics have moved steadily to the right over decades. Today Menzies of the 50's would likely be left of most of Labor.

where does centre right, right, far right end and begin? What do these labels mean?

The liberal party is on the right and that faction is the furthest right of the 3.

Given that the most damaging seats the liberal party is losing is the inner-city heartland seats to the teals (they are just as likely to form government with Labor as Liberal), a lurch further to the right is not going to help them. It will just cement them in as the anti-scientific climate change deniers, and give the teals a chance to coalesce into a real party. They have had more than a few loose cannons over the last decade making them look like complete morons.

So your 'far right' flourish was just a Sad/karnal/gweggy emotional burst.

The teals are doctors' wives - not ONE scientist, let alone 'climate scientist' among them - who can't bring themselves to vote for Faruqi, Brandt, Hanson, Abbott or Frydenberg. Financed by a South African.

Is there a single scientist in our parliament? None of them claim to be climate experts. They are politicians. Climate is just the main thing that distinguishes them from the Liberal party. And it is a vote winner.
