No problem, the PM will see that the Commonwealth provides the best legal advice, at taxpayers’ expense.

Until the right amount of dosh is on the table; Rainbow serpents et al are very particular as to the correct appeasement offerings, preferably open ended.

They want it all and they want it now.  The concept of 'traditional owners' should never have been created - I said long ago it was a sure recipe for 'confusion' over what 'ownership' meant under the apparent two different interpretations.  This was designed as the means to give to the Aborigines some free handouts for nothing, in the hope that this would create of them contented middle class responsible citizens who would use their unearned income to build homes and solid communities.  All it did was provide ample opportunity for the African King style of corruption and one big pardy, bro, that leads to violence and crime, all accompanied by the feeling that there are no real consequences and they have no obligation to abide by Whartey's rules..

Then they whine about being locked away.

"Regional Differences: In the Northern Territory, mining companies pay approximately $230 million annually in royalties to Traditional Owners. In Western Australia, Aboriginal groups received roughly $370 million in mining royalties in 2023."

You'd think with that level of tax free money plus dole etc, and their ability to persist with fishing and such to cut costs of living especially when all else is provide by governments, they would have built happy and contented and well-developed and comfortable townships by now and be well on their way to being excellent citzens in the 21st Century.  Instead they have literally gone backwards and remain mired in the filthy mud of their traditional petty group feuds and violence as the answer to all issues and having a big party in the hot sun until the money runs out.
