For a site that severely limits the size of photographs, something is wrong 😄😄

Very strong animal
Very hard body
Just muscle and bone

Wombats are even more dense.

A man was killed by a pet kangaroo in 2022. Prior to that, the last known fatal attack was in 1936 - a man trying to rescue his dogs.

We have kangaroos going through our property. A couple years back, one very big kangaroo was separate from the mob, was hanging around near our shed and near our back yard for days. Poor thing.  He wanted help. He looked injured. I took photos and told the animal welfare to come check.
Eventually the kangaroo left but we left water in a large bucket nearby for him.

If the mob are in our paddock and we go outside, they all look at us, then they bounce away in opposite direction.

Before we take dog outside for wee, even though we have fencing and gates closed, I still do a quick check there’s no wildlife in yard.

Yep we once connected with a wombat between Ute and trailer, there were sparks and our jockey wheel disconnected and flew off into the night!
Big dint on Ute back.

We’ve had kangaroo come between car and caravan once and caravan had a big inwards dint on one corner.
We use them high whistling too-shoos placed in front of car grill area, which hopefully does help.

That's the life of males. They practise fighting as joeys then battle for mating dominance. Eventually an upcomer will challenge and defeat the older buck. Their toes are like small axes.

Not so much as attack but an incident with bike rider running into it on the road & falling off. Roo might have taken a few swipes trying to get out of it.

Quote:
Details on Woodgate Kangaroo Incidents:
July 2021 Attack: Two women, one in her 60s and a tourist in her 70s, were attacked by a kangaroo in a front yard. The incident resulted in serious injuries, including a large wound to an arm and significant bruising, requiring hospital treatment.

Quote:
Based on recent reports, the small coastal town of Maaroom on Queensland's Fraser Coast has experienced a significant increase in aggressive kangaroo encounters.

Situation: A growing population of kangaroos has "taken over" the town, with residents reporting that the animals often outnumber people.

Attacks: There have been approximately six serious attacks in the 12 months leading up to August 2022, with more unreported incidents.

Injuries: Attacks have left residents with severe injuries, including broken legs, lacerations, and bruising.

Quote:
Gold Coast: A 64-year-old woman was attacked at the Arundel Hills Country Club, suffering deep scratches on her back and neck.

Another golfer required 27 stitches after a similar incident.

These are actual attacks with predominantly big male roos deliberately being aggressive & attacking people.
