In Australia, electric bikes (e-bikes) are strictly limited to
a maximum motor-assisted speed of 25 km/h to be classified
as a bicycle and ridden on public roads without registration.
The motor must stop providing power once this speed is reached.
How would they know if an electrical connection has been bypassed
to cause the motor to have more power?
