Karoline Leavitt tried to defend it by accusing people of faking outrage. I’m not sure what’s worse - the image of the Obamas as monkeys or the fact that Leavitt tried (and failed miserably) to defend it.

From fake Christian, KKKaroline Leavitt:

“This is from an internet meme video depicting President Trump as the King of the Jungle and Democrats as characters from the Lion King,” Leavitt said in a statement. “Please stop the fake outrage and report on something today that actually matters to the American public.”

There are no apes in The Lion King.

What is the difference between the Obamas as apes and making an image of Trump as a pig?

Don't humans have a genetic connection to apes? According to those who study evolution, we are a form of ape.

Obama supporters whinge, Trump supporters grin.

Note: "Winners are grinners."

'Homo sapiens share approximately 96% to over 98% of their DNA with chimpanzees and bonobos, their closest living relatives, with divergence occurring roughly 6-7 million years ago. While individual genes are nearly identical, significant differences exist in large-scale gene duplications, gene expression regulation, and structural genomic variations'.

It's not clear whether the Obamas are depicted as bonobo which have an advanced vocalisation ability, or chimpanzees.
On the evidence from White House documents and official statements, it would appear that Obama Bonobo are specified. This would exclude 2-4% of DNA which is significant when you think about it and probably would impose restraints on Obama as president and in his tweets.  However, Trump does quite well as a pig in tweets (without meaning that he has porcine DNA, of course)

Trump is innocent:

https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/trump-administration-us-iran-02-06-26

“I looked at the beginning of it. It was fine,” Trump said, referring to the first part of the video that contained debunked claims about fraud in voting machines.

“It was a very strong post in terms of voter fraud,” he said. “Nobody knew that that was in the end. If they would have looked, they would have seen it, and probably they would have had the sense to take it down.”

Trump said after he watched the first section of the video, he passed the video on to a staffer, who he said should have watched it to the end.

“Somebody slipped and missed a very small part,” he said.

He has to decide whether to be dictator for life or king and pass the domain onto his son.  Lately he's favoured the royals more than Commandant Bovino of the Overcoat.

According to the leftists, only one of these images is racist.

Why is this?

By the way, I had an AI app create the images.

It's a baboon, not an ape. Specifically, it's a mandrill.

OK - let's not be so tedious about it - it's a monkey.   Roll Eyes

Google AI:

a mandrill is not an ape; it is the world's largest species of monkey.
While often mistaken for an ape due to its size and,
in the case of the fictional character Rafiki, sometimes called a baboon,
it is actually an Old World monkey belonging to the family Cercopithecidae.

One point that is important, Trump admitted his error and withdrew the image from his Social account.  Trump admitted he was wrong, something he's never done before.  Trump used to be known as the Teflon President.  This time he admitted he did wrong.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Where did he admit he was wrong? I must've missed it - can you show us?

Donald Trump's rare backdown on racist Obama post shows even the 'Teflon president' has limits
