So when you talk about piping water 1000km to fight a fire, facts have no place in your fantasy, is it?
So quote me saying that. You should have some experience by now. You do know they do pipe water from dams?
Edit:

So I did a search. This seems to be the one you are talking about.

After all, you both push the lie that global warming isn't happening/doesn't matter/isn't anything to worry about, when in actual fact, it's the cause of all these so-called random, once-in-a-lifetime disasters.
And you have proof? Go for it. Wink
Melanias purse wrote on Jul 12th, 2025 at 10:12pm:
Increased rainfall and floods, you see, are the result of the earth heating up, precipitating condensation, forming rain clouds and causing, you know, torrential rain.
And where is this increased rainfall? Show the history and prove it. Same with floods, of course with more people, more impervious surfaces there may be increased flooding, but that doesn't make it climate change. Wink
Melanias purse wrote on Jul 12th, 2025 at 10:12pm:
The earth heating up is the result of increased CO2 emissions, which have increased average global temperatures by at least 0.2 percent each decade since the 1970s.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Please show CO2 as causation. Wink
And don't forget increasing CO2 levels have a reducing effect on temperature.

It is happening, and these are the results. California wildfires in Winter, Texan floods in Summer, increasingly devastating hurricanes during the cyclone seasons. After all, with population increasing, housing density expanding and CO2 levels through the roof, natural disasters caused by global warming are happening all over the world, right before our eyes.
California has a history of winter fires, try blaming the drying Santa Ana winds.
"Data from California wildfires since 1984 shows that only four major fires have occurred in the winter months, with the majority of large-scale blazes sparking in summer. Before this year’s Palisades and Eaton fires, the largest January wildfire in California history was the 2001 Viejas Fire, which burned over 17 square miles."

I know you don't like Fox, but I am sure if you searched your favourite news site they would have something. Wink
So do summer floods in Texas include May? It certainly ain't winter. Try 1972 South Central Texas Flood.

"Increasingly devastating cyclones"? Is that what you want to go with? Not perhaps increased intensity cyclones? Cyclone devastation is a population, property ownership problem. The more people, the more they own ... the greater the devastation. Wink

What's more, he's spent the past ten years telling the kinds of lies that spook Americans out of federally-funded disaster-prevention projects and is planning to close FEMA down altogether.
You mean like the Asheville floods, where the locals said they didn't want or need flood mitigation, in an area prone to flooding? Roll Eyes
Melanias purse wrote on Jul 12th, 2025 at 10:12pm:
Locally based officials in Texan flood-prone areas rejected FEMA's offer of an early warning system in 2021.
So now locally based politicians are a euphemism for Presidential? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

When your DL visited LA in the aftermath of the California fires, he blamed the governor, Gavin "New Scum".
You mean California's not doing enough burn control was Trump's fault? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
"Melanias purse wrote on Jul 12th, 2025 at 10:12pm:
He put the cause of the unprecedented Winter fires down to a protected species of endangered fish, 4000 miles away from the fires in remote Northern California.
Did he? The cause of the fire? Or merely the lack of water to fight the fires? You know the pulling down of dams"
Now, If you read carefully I didn't say the Klamath dams were the reason. In fact what I wrote said "By taking down these outdated dams, we are giving salmon and other species a chance to thrive once again while also restoring an essential lifeline for tribal communities who have long depended on the health of the river,” said Newsom."
https://missoulacurrent.com/california-dam-removal/Most of California is desert like if not actual desert. It often suffers water shortages with an increasing population. But they don't need dams in a hostile environment? "
But there are other California dams that have been removed much closer to LA. One was San Clemente Dam which was used in Monterey County.
