Like I said, no takers.

So, the churchgoers have the right under common law to peaceably assemble in religious worship, and would-be objectors have no right to disrupt the service, then.

Under your logic used elsewhere, all the disrupters would need to do is apply superior force, and the worshippers' rights would evaporate.

The point is, did he do the protesting? Several others had cams there. Is that an offence?

Duh.

You are confused Meister.

Protesting is not a crime, so no, that is not the point.

Who is the authority doing the allowing, in your example?

Anyone can be a journalist now. Just pull out your phone. Like teenagers filming themselves assaulting someone.

Lemon has a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and works today as a journalist.

Teenagers filming themselves assaulting immigrants and homosexuals are not journalists.

Do you think whether he has a degree, or whether he works as a journalist, has any bearing on whether he committed a crime?

Do you think he committed a crime?   Undecided

Probably. He has certainly been charged.

Do you think you are allowed to barge into a church on Sunday morning to interrupt the service as a way of protesting? I have asked this a few times, but no takers so far.

Churches are open to the public, aren't they?

Generally yeah, they are about as tolerant as you can get. But they have the right to refuse entry, kick you out etc. I can't imagine the protestors (or the "journalists" accompanying them) intended to, or did, protest by leaving as soon as they were asked. In any case I haven't seen anyone argue Lemon's innocence on the basis of his actions, or lack thereof. Only on some vague, unstated assumption that the police cannot arrest him because he is a "journalist".

What did he do wrong?

Well I was hoping if any of the people getting into hysterics about all this could give a straight answer to a simple question, that would be bleeding obvious.

There is no common decency, common sense in our diverse, multicultural societies.
Everything must be regulated and if there is no law against it you can do anything.
There are no shared customs, norms, values. You can barge into a church and be a 'journalist' arse'ole. Theoretically, you could do it in a mosque except you wouldn't dare. Synagogues are already under armed guards.
Why not try a bike clubhouse?

Churches are easy targets for cowardly, pestilential arse'oles.

No.

It seems that no offence was committed.

Freediver? Do you concur?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

But wasn't he driving an SUV at the holy reverend bless America, with a loaded AK47 to destroy the border protection?

You know that's a fake sign, right?

In any case, if you are suggesting that is relevant to this thread, you should be able to tell from the photo that they did not barge into a Mosque on Friday evening and interrupt the sermon as part of their protest. Can you imagine the wailing from the woke left if they did?

They probably did have cameras though.
