I can totally understand and relate to people who are choosing ( in massive numbers) to support One Nation.

But

It’s not a party I can support.

As far as some old dude from way back in the day playing in a “ local “ band opinion on politic politics.

I trust my pets to have a better understanding and informed opinion.

Really, are we going to be all the way with the USA and make our decisions on our democracy on old farts who once sung?

I went to the same school as Dave (he's older than me though), and his mother was very popular in this area.

First lady of the library:

Ruth Faulkner was driven to canvas for a library in Belmont during the 1960s because of a lack of free public library services in Perth and to encourage an interest in reading.

As WA's first woman councillor for the shire of Belmont, as it was then known, Mrs Faulkner campaigned hard for a free public library system. This month the Ruth Faulkner Public Library has commemorated its 40th anniversary and Mrs Faulkner was there to celebrate.

"When I was a young girl living in Melbourne I used to walk to the local library and borrow books for free," says Mrs Faulkner.
