Meanwhile China's miracle economy has slowed, given the West's inability to compete with China - and the subsequent tariffs being levied on Chinese exports.

The median Chinese salary is less than half of our unemployment benefits. China actually has a higher income disparity than Australia. TGD attempts to disagree with me on this occasionally, but he does not understand what any of the statistics mean. All he knows is what the CCP tells him to know.

Back when the CCP was literally starving Chinese people to death by the tens of millions, their propaganda machine was still so god they had the Chinese peasants feeling sorry for the poor hungry Americans, who were just getting into the obesity epidemic. Nothing has changed really.

I was waiting for FD to play the China card, but you beat him to it.

You ignore the fact Aussies don't care about poverty in China, they are worried about their own hip pocket.

And the 'dismal science' mainstream-econonomists are all clamoring for an interest rate rise today, tightening the screws on poor borrowers.

I hope the mainstreamers end up with egg on their miserable faces at 2.30pm today; there are a few sensible economists who understand the CB can't reduce demand for electricity or rents - the chief culprits causing inflation.
