We all have good times ... and bad times.

Good times, bad times, you know I've had my share
When my woman left home for a brown-eyed man
But I still don't seem to care.

Tom Cruise abandons £35,000,000 London flat after claiming city has become unsafe

Tom Cruise has quietly stepped back from one of London’s most exclusive postcodes, with sources claiming the Hollywood star no longer felt safe living in the heart of Knightsbridge.

The 63-year-old actor is understood to have left his £35million luxury apartment overlooking Hyde Park after a string of high-profile crimes in the area, culminating in a daylight robbery at a nearby luxury watch store.

A source close to the Mission: Impossible star told The Daily Mail that the turning point came after a brazen raid on the Bucherer boutique near his home.

Masked thieves reportedly arrived on motorbikes in what witnesses described as a coordinated attack, smashing their way into the shop with sledgehammers and ‘swinging machetes’ at security guards who tried to intervene, the publication has claimed.

The robbery lasted just minutes, but around 20 high-value watches were taken.

The source said: ‘The over aggressive attack on the store below cemented the lack of security surrounding the multi-million pound flats where Cruise lives.’

These guys don't have low IQs - such attacks take a high degree of co-ordination -  and they know mean mainstream wages are for losers....

And the government 'welfare net' stopped working properly ages ago.

So it's fun and games for the ultra-wealthy in London.....

They should have had armed guards at the jewellery store.    Roll Eyes

"...a coordinated attack, smashing their way into the shop with sledgehammers and ‘swinging machetes’ at security guards who tried to intervene, the publication has claimed".

You want the guards to project military-grade force?

Get used to it, as inequality  soars and average wages don't cover living costs.

TGD: The question is: why not?

Because we do not actually want communism. It is a meaningless political slogan, not a real goal.

Well it can mean 'common prosperity' for all, ie, absence of crippling c-o-l and housing pressures for lower wage earners, which Oz, UK, US and EU citizens are experiencing, hence the current dysfunctional politics in the democracries.

Meanwhile China's miracle economy has slowed, given the West's inability to compete with China - and the subsequent tariffs being levied on Chinese exports.

All courtesy of mainstream Neoclassical economics informing WTO 'free-trade' rules.

You are blind to the macroeconomic forces keeping c.10% of the population - the most disadvantaged - in poverty or out of work,  or forced to survive on low wages in a high c-o-l economy.

Hundreds of millions of more Chinese live in poverty than there are Australians, let alone Australians living in poverty.
And most of those poor Australians are far, far better off than the hundreds of millions of poor Chinese.

Must be the West's fault, too...

The median Chinese salary is less than half of our unemployment benefits. China actually has a higher income disparity than Australia. TGD attempts to disagree with me on this occasionally, but he does not understand what any of the statistics mean. All he knows is what the CCP tells him to know.

Back when the CCP was literally starving Chinese people to death by the tens of millions, their propaganda machine was still so god they had the Chinese peasants feeling sorry for the poor hungry Americans, who were just getting into the obesity epidemic. Nothing has changed really.
