Should any nurse be struck off for sleeping at work?

Everyone has a camera with a phone in it and if it’s one rule for all we will easily lose 70% of our nurses.

( cough , cough -overnight).

Reply #5 - Jan 27^th, 2026 at 12:14pm According to the link she tendered her resignation, so she wasn't sacked. Nurses often fall asleep on duty when sitting down, sleeplessness goes with the job, especially after doubling back after only 8 hours between shifts. Stretching out on three chairs is not on though.
