But the texts of Buddhism, daoism, Hinduism, even mormon , scientology do not contain the violence towards infidels .

If this student is from iran , my understanding, then he has been exposed to some pretty barbaric behaviour by fundamentalists of the Islamic faith.

There are about 1 mill Christians in Iran who are oppressed.
Iranians aren't rioting to bring in Islamic government. The man says he's against authoritarian police in Oz.

'The proposed legislation includes a defence if the alleged hate speech consists only of directly quoting from or referencing a "religious text" for the purpose of religious teaching or discussion.'

aquascoot has no claim that the man is quoting anything. So Albo and the Koran have nothing to do with aquascoot's guesses. As the guy posts info about bombing and violence, the religious part is no defence for him. That's why he's charged with terrorism. aquascoot is a terror. As is Trump.

Yes the ABC was typically obvious in their deliberate lack of detail about old mate being of Iranian descent & a Muslim.

Why should they be quoted for any purpose at all?

That's an area that the Koran & Islam should be reformed.

How is it any different from someone actually orally yelling that out in the street?

It's a book based of killing all infidel opposition & specifically Jews.

Any Muslim that follows that religious instruction no matter in what manner should be classed as a terrorist threat.

Albo has allowed it..... just as he allowed & encouraged the rise in Jew hatred in this country over the past 27 months.
