Populists don't need academic qualifications.

Pauline - as a populist - appeals to the lazy, ignorant, undereducated voters.

Moreover, Ley is the worst leader the Liberal Party has ever had.

It's no surprise at all that Hanson would win such a poll.

However, there's a big difference between winning a hypothetical popularity contest and winning 76 seats in the House of Representatives.

Pauline Hanson has as much chance of becoming Prime Minister as Donald Trump has of running a successful business.

None of which show any value from her to date.

The Financial Review has the first RedBridge Group/Accent Research federal poll since immediately before the Bondi shootings, and it shades last week’s YouGov in recording the highest One Nation vote and the lowest “former Coalition parties“ vote of any poll so far.
Labor is at 34%
, which is down one on the previous poll but still their best result in any poll since that time.
One Nation is up fully nine points to 26%
, while the
Coalition is down seven to 19%
, with the
Greens down two to 11%
.

The increasingly speculative two-party preferred measure has Labor back in the territory of its landslide win last May with a lead of
56
-
44
over the former Coalition parties.

Contrary to a consensus that the One Nation surge will likely prove ephemeral, the poll in fact finds slightly more of the party’s supporters saying their choice is “solid” than for other parties with meaningful sample sizes.

Libbos, Nats and One Nation.

Very interesting.

The South Australian state election will be show the mood of the electorate.

I personally think Pauline is smart enough to be playing a long game.

She’s simply building on her core principles and pointing out the obvious failures of Albos.

The LNP are completely irrelevant going forward.

As if ANY of this mattered.

In 15- 20 years Australians will be a despised minority in their own country.

None of the parties are going to DO anything about it. Like Western Europe, North America, Australia is done.
Demography.

Eh, she’s survived 30 plus years in politics. Started a new third political party ( greens are done for and teals just happy to be on the political gravy train). Say nothing do nothing collect wages and perks they could never get out side being a politician .)

She’s party one nation has surged ahead in polls and now apparently more of an opposition than that other “ mob”.

She’s not a stupid person.

I don’t believe she has very smart policies but but I think a very large percentage of people are just so over the labor and “ what’s their name “ parties she’s smart enough to to take  gains and stop and take again.

It’s a game of numbers.

Citizens chip in just over $6 to what ever political party you vote for.

The more votes she gets = the more money she’ll receive and less to her opponents.

She doesn’t have to win the next election.

She will just keep building a state and senate base and continuing to collect the money from each vote till eventually.

The country will be completely destroyed when she wins  power?

Politicians pretending to care about your vote to represent you.

They don’t care about you, they just want the $5 taxpayers funded dollars your vote gives them.

It’s that cut and dry
