Ley is the worst Liberal leader I've seen in years.

And that's saying something.

Still, to this day, she's using the Bondi mass murder to score cheap political points.

A vile, repugnant creature.

And Hanson is doing the same.

It saddens me to know that there are people in this country who think that those two oxygen thieves are viable alternatives.

Only Pauline has a plan to stop mass, uncontrolled immigration -

she'll get my vote.

How?

Her name won't be on your ballot paper.

Obviously I'll vote for any One Nation candidate.    Roll Eyes

Careful Bobby, there are people here who will report you for hate speech.

Albo can have Pauline arrested now - that would be funny.

Didn't Abbott set her up ? He raised a slush fund of over $100,000 and paid for her civil prosecution. Howard was quitely behind the scenes. Some claim the slush fund was used to pay people to testify.

Abbott eventually apologised for not declaring his slush fund. (tried to hide it).

One Nation was taking votes off the Liberls as they were being more racist than the Libs and attracting the right wing red neck vote. The following legal prosecution deregistered one Nation and put the leadership in prison. This was eventually overturned. One Nation lost popularity in the 2000 election largely because Howard took all their policies. For the Libs it was another step to the right.

They always have a chance - it mostly depends on how effective the News LTD propoganda campaign works out. They have won several unwinable elections based on NEWS LTD's ability to muddy the waters and run spectacular dishonest scare campaigns. Numerous times the Libs have been sunk with 3 months to go to eventually win easily based on lies and scare campaigns.

Remember when the Lying Rodent ran the who do you trust campaign ? Seriously Just think about that for a moment.

One of the big reasons for recent years balance in elections has been the internets influence damping down the effectiveness of NEWS LTD to some extent.

Leyo refuses to go go-

“ In short:
Sussan Ley says she will remain as Liberal leader after a split with the Nationals, and remains open to a reunion but is not focused on it.
Nationals leader David Littleproud has blamed Ms Ley for the split, which he announced on the day of mourning on Thursday.
What's next?
The Nationals and Liberals will now sit separately in the federal parliament.”

“ABC

The liberal brand  has been damaged beyond repair since the beginning of the pandemic and the labor brand has suffered serious damage from then on as well.
Anyone in the old LNP who has any credibility left should be speaking directly to Barnaby Joyce if they wish to continue to have a political career.

Google AI:

Pauline Hanson went to jail in 2003 for electoral fraud, convicted of dishonestly obtaining public funding for her party, One Nation, by falsely claiming to have 500 members for its registration in Queensland. She and co-accused David Ettridge were each sentenced to three years but were released after about 11 weeks when their convictions were overturned by the Queensland Court of Appeal due to flaws in the prosecution's case, with an acquittal eventually recorded.

Key Details of the Case:
The Crime: Hanson and Ettridge were found guilty of supplying names of supporters as party members to meet electoral law requirements and dishonestly receiving electoral funds.

The Sentence: In August 2003, a District Court judge sentenced them to three years in prison without parole.

The Appeal: In November 2003, the Court of Appeal quashed the convictions, stating the evidence didn't prove the individuals weren't members and that allowing the convictions to stand would be unsafe.

Outcome: Hanson and Ettridge were immediately released, and an acquittal was later recorded, as the court found the Crown failed to prove its case.

In Summary: Hanson was jailed for electoral fraud related to One Nation's registration, but the conviction was successfully appealed, leading to her release and acquittal,.

I’m hearing plenty on the talk back radio.

I guess that can never be filtered and controlled.

Albo thinks Suso should stay in charge.

Why wouldn’t he? The most incompetent leader ever ( after Duddo) to lead the opposition.

The libs may as well try/ beg to be taken in by labor?

Because I think now all the positions in  the new opposition-one nation are filled?

Let's be honest - Australians face-palmed when Ley was created leader of the pack..  she's not a real Aussie, has no real idea how things work here (like most foreigners who maybe should not be permitted to hold high office here), she has never shone at anything apart from what made Scott Morrison dictate to the party that she be retained at the top of their voting page (eyebrows raised) when th Libs crashed, and she had been caught with her fingers in the till profiting from 'travel rorts' and treating those as if she was royalty....

Why in Dog's name would any party with half a brain keep her on - let alone give her the top spot in the farcical Opposition?

Their entire aim MUST be to trash Australia under Labor - jeez - right now the NSW Libs are thinking on having an undemocratic qota for falcon sheilas just like the Communists.... amazing stuff when 65%+ of Australians do NOT VOTE LABOR already!

Two thirds of the electorate reject Labor - yet this lot can't form a coherent policy set to give to the people, those in desperate need of rescue from the Mad King Albo.

The Liberals are now completely irrelevant.

Not only does Pauline have a chance but  good odds to win teal seats ( who let’s be honest) done nothing more in parliament than examine their pay check and try and learn how to rorting travel expenses?
