Israel is the result of Reconquista, like the reconquista of Spain, or  Greece or the Balkans. WHat particularly irks the Muslims is that it is a reconquista by the Jews who are the most odious of the infidels to them.  The Iberian terrirories or Greece and the balkans ,reconquered from the Muslims, are far larger and more popukous than Judea and Samaria but because they  were not taken back by the Jews, you hear a lot less agitation by the Muslims about them.
