No never a country..... just a geographical location called Syria Palestina .. named such by the Romans to punish the Jews ... to disconnect/disassociate them from the land.

The kingdom/country was Israel & Judah.

And I have oft said that if there was really a country called Palestine & a people called Palestinians then Jews would also be Palestinians.

The region known as Israel & Judea was abolished around 150AD.

If even Jews once referred to themselves as Palestinian Jews, that indicates that even they acceded to the legitimacy of the region's name.

If Indonesia claimed that northern Australia was once part of the region occupied by Indonesian peoples nearly 2000 years ago, and now they want it back, would you agree?

They didn't & the relevance is?

Highlighting your small-minded stupidity that was a feature of Australian culture once.

Of course you wouldn't accept sovereignty of Australian territory by a foreign power or people...

Even Jabotinsky respected Atabs enough to agree that their resistance to the Jewish demographic takeover of Palestine at the time is exactly what an honourable people should and would do.

Jews were not a foreign power.... they had more connection to the Holy Land -the Kingdoms of Israel & Judah - not Syria Palestina not Palestine as named by the Romans to persecute & drive out Jews.

The area of Gaza was known as Philistia - occupied by Philistines -

Quote:
Philistia was primarily occupied by the Philistines—a maritime people likely from the Aegean (Crete) known as the Peleset—from the 12th century B.C.E. until 604 B.C.E.. They established a five-city confederation (Pentapolis) including Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath. Later, the region was conquered by the Assyrians, then by Nebuchadnezzar II of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, followed by Persian, Greek, and Roman rule.

Palestine & a Palestinian people are a manufactured myth(Yasser Arafat scam).

Hardly - although called the southern gate an arsehole doesn't point south when taking a dump - it points toward the ground, the street or the bottom of the toilet bowl - depending on your background & toileting proclivities  based on culture.

Some people are yet to be trained ... you?

That's like saying the Gypsies are Romans coz they call themselves Roma. Or that a romance  is about gypsies.
Or that Romania is the living continuation of Rome.

You are uniquely stupid. Worse than Bbwiyawn. Be proud of that. Nobody can take that from you.

The country remains.
Romans knew of 'Palestine' and affirmed the country name. It's not me who derives  this name from the original 'Philistines'.

('Britain' to Greeks and Romans was largely Celtic until Germans and French replaced Celts in general in the east. The name then continued.)

(' Romanians derive their name from the Latin Romanus, meaning "Roman" or "of Rome," reflecting their Latin-based language and historical connection to the Roman Empire, specifically the province of Dacia. ')

'Modern Israeli Jewish genetics, particularly among the Ashkenazi majority, reflect a complex mixture of Middle Eastern (Semitic) roots and significant European admixture. Studies show roughly 35%–55% European, mainly Southern/Eastern European, ancestry blended with ancient Levantine (Middle Eastern) ancestry'.   Half Jewish is good enough, shalom mitzvah.

Sooo... is Jew a race or a religion?

Is Mohammedan a race or religion?

Is Christian a race or religion?

There is an awful lot of opportunistic/stupid slippin' and slidin' about these things.

(Trick question)&&

Tricky one that.
'The decisive battle that delivered Palestine to the Muslims took place on August 20, 636. Palestine, and indeed all of Syria, was then in Muslim hands. After the surrender of Jerusalem, ʿUmar divided Palestine into two administrative districts (jund) similar to the Roman and Byzantine provinces: they were Jordan (Al-Urdun) and Palestine (Filasṭīn). Jordan included Galilee and Acre and extended east to the desert; Palestine, with its capital first at Lydda (now Lod, Israel) and later at Ramla (after 716), covered the region south of the Jezreel Valley.'

This continued into Ottoman rule then barbarian  fascist UN mandate Israel.

Yes - but the so called Palestinians are not Philistines. They have become an admixture of peoples through invasion & occupation over millennia - & the biggest influence being Arabisation & Islamic conversion after the Islamic invasion which came out of the Arabian Peninsular.

Heinze variety Muslims.

It was never a country - ever. It was simply a geographical location referring to the land aka The Holy Land.

Repeating bullshit doesn't make it true.

All 'countries' are at least geographical locations referring to the land.

Immigrating European Jews into Palestine before 1948 referred to themselves as Palestinian Jews... That's an accession to the name also referring to the people living on the land.

Australia was once only a geographical location (renamed from New Holland)... until it wasn't.

Before the establishment of the nation-state, all 'countries' were 'only' geographical locations with rough-and-ready 'borders'.

Correct. Philistines became Palaestina and then Palestine. Just as Jews have admixture. Do you understand what you read?
Do you check your copy/paste?

The verse you quote:
'Quran 26:59 (Surah Ash-Shu'ara) states, "So it was. And We awarded it [all] to the Children of Israel" (or "Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel"). This verse refers to God granting the wealth, gardens, and fertile lands once held by Pharaoh and his people in Egypt to the Israelites.
The preceding verses (26:57-58) describe the Israelites leaving behind the treasures, springs, and luxurious dwellings of the Egyptians.
(26:57) Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs (26:58) and their treasures and excellent dwellings. (26:59) This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties'.

'Verse 26:59 marks the transfer of these material blessings and lands to the Children of Israel.' It doesn't say that the name and country 'Philistia' disappeared.

Muhammad was a bit tangled up, so Gnads is too.

So if Muslim bum located between Jerusalem and Mecca when praying receives a kick theoretically it would end somewhere  near Macca but to be more accurate the kicker have to to include Gravitational, Centrifugal and Coriolis forces in summary vector calculation as well as resistance forces.

Because it is a regional name for an area - like Gold coast, or The Illawarra, or New England, or The Pilbara ... on and on... The Sahara ..... it never was and unless promulgated, never will be a country.

Therefore there are no Palestinians, no such nationality - etc.

If you want to go further - the region was lived in by Arabs, Philistines (of some Greek origin), Druze and other Christians, descendant of Crusaders, Persians, Turks,  and wait for it - JEWS.  The GAZANS had their own place called - GAZA.

It was never a wholly Arab or Muslim area... it was a mixed population area with no distinct boundaries and those changed all the time, and it was almost entirely once the Hebrew lands.

Capisce?
