Good - I got out of the work force too -
best move I ever made.
Yep.
More people should do it.
They're wasting their lives away.
Hi Pecca,
Yes - I honestly believe that almost all companies are run by psychopaths
who are paranoid that the company is being ripped off by workers
who are not giving 100%.
Their way of dealing with it is to retrench people thinking
they have got rid of dead wood.
They also get bonuses for doing it.
They run companies on a skeleton staff and then sack more people.
You then find you're doing duties that you never signed up for -
making up for the loss of staff.
In fact you can give your heart and soul to a company -
take home their problems every night and lose sleep over it for years or decades -
yet get tossed out like garbage in the end.
The sooner you get out of it the better you'll feel.
The best way is to pay off a house -
sell it then downsize to a unit or apartment and live
off the cash you generate from the leftover funds.
When you're older, you don't want to be mowing lawns,
trimming edges, cleaning out gutters and pruning trees -
and on the council grass verge as well.
You have others doing it all for you and
you can live your life in peace.
