This gear, while some of it is dodgy and some incorrectly stored, has probably been sitting in his home for decades without causing a problem for anyone. However this will be used as a propaganda piece to justify the pointless new gun laws now being considered as a distraction to the systemic failures that allowed the Bondi Islamic terrorists access to firearms.

For sure!
Some of those guns look like old collectables!
A neighbour of ours (but sold and moved out a decade ago) had hundreds of guns from collecting them from India. Then sold heaps at auctions, all of them sold! He made a little fortune. it was just a done collectable thing. It looks like this old guy was a collector from ages ago.

I only see 3 complete, and very old firearms -
The rest look like rusty old parts - barrels.

Exactly. 100% correct.

Albos Govt will never deal with the real issues - deflection & distraction is their only game.

Meanwhile Australia-wide, Australian governments
ARE GUILTY [imo] OF CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE,
of allowing probably 10,000's of ['repeat'] violent criminals,
to walk on our streets, and in our suburbs and in our cities.
[....instead of being in prison, where these 'wolves' belong.]

I would argue, that violent criminals, walking free in our communities would cause much more harm and injury to law-abiding citizens,
AND, harm, to the loss of rights and freedoms of law-abiding citizens,
than would the firearms held, by those law-abiding citizens.

n.b.
A firearm is an inanimate object.

Not so, a violent criminal,
with a criminal intent,
and willing to demonstrate absolutely no regard for the rights of anyone except himself.

Sometimes they count parts like barrels as guns to boost the numbers.

The ammo looks pretty old might get a few "Fail to fire" with that.
