Both Israel and the USA were bombing Iran at will last year. It's a long way from too powerful to provoke. But letting them develop nukes would be a very bad idea.

Yes if they already don't have them?  - who knows for sure?

Iran did supply proxy army forces with money and weapons in:
Iraq, Syria, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Israel and the Houthis in Yemen.
They are not innocent – they up to their necks in war.

It's not innocence so much that is the issue, but sanity. So far, the world has avoided nuclear war through mutually assured destruction. That is not going to work with a crazy Islamic regime where the leaders do not fear dying.

If they die fighting the infidel they get:

72 virgins,
a palace with 3 swimming pools,
a truckload of whisky,
and a box of Cuban cigars.

To them it's a good deal.   Smiley

A total of over 300 strike aircraft
Plus the full complement of Israeli Air Force aircraft and several dozen British fighters already deployed to the region.

The Pentagon has been building up its presence in Europe and the Middle East for the past week, with over 100 aircraft arriving this week alone due to ongoing tensions with Iran.
