57,000 eskimos are not going to decide whether China or Russia or the US or Denmark will control their island that is IN North America and of strategic significance to everyone but them.

Wake the **** up.  It's a colony.  European Nato and the EU are unreliable sell-outs.

1979, Greenland became a rigsdel (an autonomous territory) within the Kingdom of Denmark.  King Donald is bigger.
King Xi is bigger again.

Greenland's are in a unique position, they have the opportunity to get a better deal than what they get from Denmark. They have the chance to forge a deal with America which will bring in capital and resources. Realistically they currently rely on America for security as Denmark has very limited capacity and relies on America anyway so its just cutting out the middle man.

So what it all means is if Russia attacks Greenland they have ring Denmark and then Denmark has to ring America and America chases Russia off. What is the purpose of Denmark.

Denmark's in NATO, dearie. Greenland has a US military base. America has to chase Russia off no matter what.

Greenland have the chance to forge a deal with America which will bring in capital and resources now, you ridiculous old thing. It's an autonomous territory.

Yes.

They will come to an agreement.

Denmark is not in a position to keep out the Russians and Chinese on her own.
57,000 Eskimos are NOT going to be given the freedom to decide who they give the key to Greenland to.

Thats what it all comes too.

Greenlanders are happy with life and feel safe, they have no worries and love their independence, nothing wrong with that is there.

America provides the security that allows the Greenlanders to feel this way, they spend billions on bases in Greenland and the American taxpayer pays for it all.

What if Greenlanders have to deal with Putin themselves, what if they had to build up their military to be able to defend themselves, what if they had to pony up for the navy required for defending Greenland, would they be so happy and free.

Its not America's responsibility to ensure Russia don't acquire more real estate in Europe.

European countries can no longer rely on America to contain Russia, not because America dont want to but because Europe dont want to do the dirty work required to keep the likes of Putin contained.

Anyway America has every right to remind Greenland they need America more than America needs Greenland. Just like Greenlanders have the right to self determination Americans also have the right to self determination when it comes to who they protect and what they want in return for that protection.

America has every right to say to Europe if you want our protection this is what it will cost you, Europe then have the right to reject or accept the offer. This is what Trump is saying, why do the taxpayers of America have to pay for Europe's protection.

Keep out the Russians and Chows?

Your DL's just walked away from Ukraine. He yawns when you talk about Taiwan. He's an inch away from pulling out of NATO.

Why would he give a shit about Greenland being taken?

The only reason you care is you now shit on the Danes. You'd shit all over us too if your DL wanted Tasmania.

You've given up every principle you've ever expressed here, and for what?

What do you get out of it?

Commit that to memory, Vegemite driller.
