Cuba will talk, Brian. They all do in the end.

DL will get the commies to the table to listen to one of the big fella's long monologues. If they don't smile and play nice, he's free to go in and take out their boss.

Then it's Washington calling the shots with ten percent to the big guy.

We will make America nice again, no?

There's a pattern here. Gaza, Venezuela, Cuba. Golf, hotels, surf and younger girls.

Let's not forget their fabulous casinos, Chimera. If anyone knows how to run them, it is he.

Broads, beaches, beauty pageants. By the time of the mid-terms elections, the big fella's gonna be back in those change rooms, checking out Little Miss Havana.

May every day be another wonderful secret, no?

The USA has a long memory.
They never forgot that in 1962 Cuba had Russian nuke tipped missiles aimed at the USA
from only 100 miles away and those in charge of each missile had the launch codes
to be able to independently launch them.
One rogue colonel, one mistake, and it was WW3.

Cuba had no independent right to launch. A Russian saved the world.

They could have launched a nuke torpedo:

In 2002, retired Commander Vadim Orlov, who was aboard B-59, confirmed the submarines carried nuclear torpedoes and credited Arkhipov with preventing their use. He described the situation less dramatically, saying Captain Savitsky lost his temper but calmed down.[18]

Former U.S. Defense Secretary Robert McNamara said in 2002: "We came very, very close [to nuclear war], closer than we knew at the time." Historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., an advisor to President Kennedy, added: "This was not only the most dangerous moment of the Cold War. It was the most dangerous moment in human history."

Thank heavens the grown ups are back in charge, Chimera.

Today, anyone who disobeyed an order like that would end up with polonium in their undies.

True, but today we have JD, little Marco and Pete to stop WWIII.

Trump appears to disrespect his predecessor's pledges to not invade Cuba.  He is a fool in that case.  Cuba will not be a walkover like Venezuela was. They have been preparing for a feared US invasion since before the Cuban Missile Crisis.  They will attack Guantanamo Bay in a trice, the moment the first US boots touch Cuban soil.  "ˇNo pasarán!" - they shall not pass!

True, but if Sleepy Joe suggested invading Cuba in a fit of dementia, I'm sure the leftards would back him every step of the way, no?

What can you expect when you elect an insane and illigitimate president.
