She hits his body backwards first and then he fires.
She did make contact with him as she drove off, but only because he leaned into the vehicle.
The footage makes it clear she attempted to avoid him at every step, reversing, turning away, trying to disengage, yet he still chose to insert himself into her path. Any danger that followed was entirely of his own making.
Call it officer-created jeopardy, officer-created exigency, manufactured danger or manufactured exigent circumstances, the label is secondary.
Under both law enforcement practice and basic reasoned judgement, it was not justified self-defence. Accepted use-of-force standards do not sanction shooting at a moving vehicle that is attempting to leave a scene.
There is reportedly footage of her body that has not been made public. Those who have seen it say she was killed instantly. That makes this an execution, not a split-second tragedy.
That context explains the rest. Why no aid was rendered. Why a physician on site was denied access. Why no effort was made to clear a path for paramedics. Why the body was removed from the scene before a proper investigation could occur.
The ICE agent was allowed to leave before the scene was secured. The vehicle was later removed on a flatbed with no visible attempt to preserve evidence. Local and state law enforcement were blocked from conducting an independent investigation.
ICE then helped pack the agent’s house and whisked him and his wife into hiding, all at public expense.
This is not an ordinary situation.
It was not self-defence.
And the victim, Renee Nicole Good, will never see justice through legal means as the government cover-up is in full swing.
