I think this woman is a candidate for the Darwin award. Trying to evade police. Ignoring their instructions to get out of the car. Then driving towards an officer who already had his gun pointed out her.

20 seconds: you can see the police lights flashing.

36 seconds: agent beside the open drivers side window instructs the woman to "get out of the *** car". For the hard of hearing, they subtitle it for you, so there is no possibility you could get it wrong and think the police are telling her to move the car.

39 seconds: you can see the officer in front of the car draw his weapon. The newsreader even points this out to you: "an officer, at the front, draws his weapon, then...". That's when you hear the gun fire. They even freeze the video and highlight the officer at the front drawing his weapon. You can even see the gun, pointed out the driver from directly in front of the car, you can see the recoil and see the gunsmoke coming out of the gun. Unless you are blind and deaf, there is no way to misunderstand what is going on.

42 seconds: the officer in front of the car shoots the driver through the front windscreen. You can then see him moving to avoid being struck by the vehicle.

44 seconds: you can see that all 4 officers have clearly idenitifable POLICE written on their front and back.

The basic facts:

The woman had been stopped by the police. The driver's window was down so she could hear what she said.

The police are clearly identified.

The police clearly instruct her to get out of the car.

There is an officer directly in front of the car with a drawn weapon.

Despite the clear instruction that clearly came from police and the clear threat from a gun directly in front of here, the woman accelerates toward the officer who is pointing a gun at her, and the officer fires his gun.

The officer only escapes being struck because he takes evasive action.

Despite the crystal clear video and audio of all this happening, along with subtitles, freeze frames etc, people still managed to get everything backwards.

She got shot while trying to evade police and almost running down a police officer. This is 100% on her. Darwin award candidate.
