How heroic - maybe he should be in custody for insurrection.

And for those malfeasants, the doors of Gondwanamo Bay yawn wider by the day....

The Secesh have a lower rate of death in custody than the Union, and  higher chance of survival in custody than in their own 'communities'.

What's the clown looking to do?

Join his Uncle?

10 yrs ago .... move on - not every Aboriginal who dies in jail, dies in suspicious circumstances.

All these victim card playing arseholes want is to have it so no matter what an Aboriginal does - theft, DV, car jack, rape, murder, home invade etc. they should not receive any punishment or jail time ...... because they're special & the law of the land doesn't apply to them.

Kcuf off.

You are ignoring the 'chicken and egg' controversy: poverty is co-related with crime.

So the government needs to close the gap before you can be safe.

Unfortunately Neoclassical economics rules the roost, rendering government incapable of closing the gap.

Regrettably even Neoclassical economics are diminishing as we tumble towards an electronic world where on line shopping costs jobs in manufacturing and service and AI will soon replace boffins in Tech, Law and even Medicine.   The only job platforms that are reasonably safe are trades, and even those are in danger

First Nations People, white Australians, Greeks, Italians, Jews, and all the others that make up Australia are feeling the same thing.  The decline of jobs and opportunities and there is nothing the Government can do about it.     We have allowed major employers to go casual, and employ on demand - and all the free TAFE and Uni under the sun will not reverse that - we just haven’t got the jobs to meet the applicants

The Government cannot close this gap.   If we had the government owned infrastructure of the 50s, 60s and 70s well it would be a different story.   We could establish permanent workforces to undertake meaningful work and with good project management, keep those jobs going for ever and a day - but we don’t have that anymore
- we have allowed a huge sell off of just about everything and the jobs went with it.

Vic will lke this - there are Defence job advertised for Seniors - working from home doing logistics and stuff.  Expect that to spread.  You'd be a walk-in, Vic.

The writing was on the AI wall when they 'privatised' roads - as the first example - and the 'jobs' collecting tolls etc were steadily taken over by automation...  the only good thing is I bought my ePass thing years ago for a flat fee - not rented it - and now I get - believe it - largesse from the government for the costs of commuting, even though I haven't actually used it for years - since the trip toTasmania.

What's that say about those who are poor & do not resort to crime?

This so called poverty of living in a remote community, never having to work, receiving a welfare check every fortnight, a govt supplied house, free health & education, have modern conveniences, own mobile smart camera phones(what all this fighting is about i.e. social media posts), drink alcohol, smoke & have drugs....

and all we hear are excuse makers like you.

You can Kcuf off too.
