Hi again, Frank.
A question if we may: do you support your DL invading Greenland?
Cheers.
Is he invading already?
Nahh - he's gunna make a deal.
A deal for what?
Bust in, take out Mette and leave the Social Democrats in power?
That could work.
Look - when you're a star they let you do it - you can do anything:
kidnap a foreign leader,
bomb nuclear sites in a foreign country,
annex a country cause you've gotta have it.
Why not.
Are NATO going to stop him?
And for global security, do you just want China and Russia running the who Arctic region?.
Trump doing this would effectively detonate the post-war global security architecture.
The United States would cease to be a credible ally to anyone. NATO would either collapse outright or be forced into the unthinkable position of deploying troops to deter or resist a US invasion, and even that would only underline the point, NATO without the US is no longer the alliance it was.
The rest of the world would adapt quickly and ruthlessly. New alliances would form that deliberately exclude Washington. Trade relationships would be re-engineered to minimise exposure to an erratic and openly predatory United States. Trust, once broken at that scale, does not quietly return, even if Trump is impeached in a post-midterm reshuffle.
What follows would be a period of profound global destabilisation, economically, militarily, and diplomatically. And all of it would be laid squarely at Trump's feet, enthusiastically applauded by people like you who either don't understand the consequences or simply don't care so long as the people they hate are hurting or they can have their lulz.
