Who did you marry?
Jan 3rd, 2026 at 5:43pm

Did you marry the girl next door?
That is, the financially stronger relationships, but sexually weaker (is: no kids)

Did you marry the girl across the road (playing Frogger with the traffic)
That is, sexually stronger, financially weaker.

Did you get dating and marry the girl a block away for the best of both worlds but to a lesser extent for comfortability but it was a long shot challenge that took a lot of dating.

Or did you marry the girl from another country that didn't speak your language but you needed to feel cultured and have someone racially different to you so no chance of inbreeding.

Ladies. This applies to you too. Wink

With this said.
Were you happy with your choice?
Did it work out?

Default question: Did you experience all of the above but not marry because you couldn't make up your mind?

I won't say but after what happened to me long ago
I decided that marriage was a mugs game.

I never noticed a happily married guy at work -
always complaining about their wives and children.   Roll Eyes

They always had no money with their wives maxing out every credit card on junk -
no matter how much money they earnt.  Roll Eyes

How long have you been with your partner.

I met my wife when we were 15 catching the bus to work, yes we started work at 15. We sat next to each other and talked but no long after I started to ride my bike to work and we just met here and there socially for a few years. At 19 I asked her out to a disco and later that night asked her to be my girlfriend. We have been together ever since and been married for 40 years with two sons and I still love her just as much if not more now. She has made me the happiest person in the world and I can't thank her enough for that.

I posted that some time ago.

And just a small correction Bobby, marriage is not a game for mugs.

Plus, same-sex marriage wasn't legal when you were younger.
